Green Donuts
There is a lunch time market on my street that is only open from about 11am-1:30pm. Vendors rotate days of the week. Every Monday fresh green(color from pandanus leaves, a mild flavoring) donuts are made and this morning I came so early that they hadn’t started frying them yet. Hot, sugared melt-in-your-mouth donuts for 22 cents a pop! A good reason to look forward to Mondays.
